2 1/2 yrs ago....wow time flies!

I just wanted to finish out the year saying some things about Tayton. We love this kid so much and can't believe he is becoming such a big boy.

-Jan 2012 accomplishments:

Goes to Nursery and stays the whole time by himself (but dad has to drop him off there is something about me taking him he won't stay)

Is now peeing on the potty, not fully done but recognizes when he has to go! We are getting there:)

Knows colors, can count 1-10, and tries to say the alphabet haha its funny

Loves to sing right now his favorite songs are; head, shoulder, knees, and toes. Old MacDonald. Row Row your boat.

So excited for his sister to come, lets hope his attitude stays the same when she gets here

Favorite colors blue and orange

Treyson (his cousin) is his IDOL- just went to watch him play basketball and Tayton loved watching him

Favorite thing to play is Farm

Cant say his F's.. He's constantly asking to play bootball

Is in a big kid bed, we had troubles at first getting him to go down easily, but now goes to bed much better

Favorite saying this last month was....Rocky told him Ky could pull him around on the sled and he said no he cant dad he doesn't have fingers.

He is constantly making us laugh:)

I am getting ready to print my book and wanted to put down some memories of my favorite little guy. And since I'm in the baby mood why not add a baby pic of him!!

Christmas Eve Party

Trust uncle Vinny, I tell him a hunting gun would be a good idea and he gives him a Nerf assault rifle that is quite large. HAHA Tayton loves it though:) Look at those smiles

We had a fun Christmas this year. Tayton was spoiled by the time he opened from Santa, us, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. He didn't know what to think about all his new toys. He actually asked me, "mom I take all my old toys back to store?" What a funny kid, I had to tell him he gets to play with old and new toys:) One highlight was seeing Drew and Kensi. Tayton had not seen them forever (they live in Tuscon) so it took a little time to warm up, but Christmas Eve Kensi was Tayton's new best friend! I think our Holiday was a little overbooked this year: 23rd Pace Party, 24th Robinson Party, 25th parents came over early to see what Santa brought, ate breakfast at grandma Karen's, went to Church (well some), back to grandma Karen's to open presents, Dinner & presents at my moms, Grand and Grand Pace came to see all the new things. We were all exhausted and I don't think Tayton really had time to enjoy himself until the day after when things could finally sink in and he actually had time to play with the things he wanted too. But what would Christmas be without all our families. I am grateful we live so close to both our families and can spend Holidays with both sides (even though it can be a little overwhelming for a 8 month prego lady and a 2 yr old boy:)

Its hard to believe all the madness is over, we all look forward to Christmas Day so much that it is hard to get back into the swing of things after it is over. I have been trying to get things ready for a new baby here and her room is almost complete just waiting for a few more packages in the mail. Its crazy to think we are getting so close, but it also feels so far away. I'm just excited to hopefully get her here safely and not be pregnant any longer and maybe start loosing weight. I know that is bad to think but I just am not a happy camper when I am pregnant and start looking like a beached whale the last couple of weeks!!! But we can't wait for her to get here especially her big brother who asks me everyday, "MOM has baby sister came out yet?"

Merry Christmas everyone. Cant believe it's here but I'm so glad it is. With a tighter budget this year I have been trying to remember what Christmas is really about and remember why we are celebrating. I am so excited to watch Tayton this year, he is really excited but we are also excited to teach him about the birth of Baby Jesus and his importance.

The things he wants range from a big Blue truck, gates for his farm, and a Elmo guitar. It's so fun having little kids- he's so into Christmas this year and everything he sees at the store he says he wants to ask Santa if he can have it.

We feel blessed this year with Health and happiness and wish everyone the best especially starting the new year.

November Trip to Tuscon

I thought I better head to one more game before the season ended. It was hard because I had to decide between going or staying to a nephews baptism. I thought having a baby soon it might be good to get out of the house for a few days and go see my brother who I hadn't seen for a while. That drive about killed me being prego but we made it and watched the game. Poor Arizona had a rough season this year, and as much as we were hoping for a W against Utah it didn't happen. Along with going to Tuscon we decided to take a day trip Sunday to Tombstone (an hr past Tuscon). It was quite the place, a western setting with real people walking around the old street with pretty much everything the same as it was back in the old days. I had to laugh at how they lived back then, it would have been neat but I am glad I wasn't there. We went to an old Saloon and I seriously couldn't believe how they treated women. Paid them for what they wanted and was on their way. It was crazy to see all of the original things; bullet holes in the walls, bird cages (where the men went to find the women) piano, a hearse, clothes, and even the up scaled rooms for the higher paying clients exactly how they were back in the day.

I'm glad I went even though I stressed about Tayton the whole time it was good to see Drew n Kens.

Fall 2011- Our Favorite Season :)

Halloween 2011, our family (I love those two cute cowboys)

Tayton 2 yrs old..Rocky wanted him to have home-made shaps (spelling?)and a vest for his cute cowboy costume this year. Grandma J found the awesome material, and grandma Karen put them together. I think they turned out super cute and of course I had to put some blue on them with his name just like his dad's shaps. I was super worried he wouldn't wear anything this year(terrible twos) but he surprised us and kept it on all night! It was a fun Halloween this year and it's weird to think next Halloween we will have another one to share it with.

Tayton on Red, Sunday he asked his dad if they could go on a horse ride and of course his dad said yes. He loves riding horses! Every horse we see he says, "Mom me ride that horse."

This was taken when we were Hunting up Franklins. This exact day Tayt saw his first actual hunt, his uncle Matt shot a deer while we were with him. He watched to whole thing the shot, the gutting, and everything. I was so worried but he wouldn't take his eyes off of it, he was so fascinated. Now needless to say the newest thing we play at our house is going hunting. He tells quite the stories about shooting elk around our house.

In October we went with all the Pace kids to see the scarecrows in Park City. They were pretty cute.

Rock celebrated his 27th this year, Tayt had to open his presents for him:)

We can't forget about cutting hay in September. Tayton really loved it this year, and sat right with daddy in the tractor on his lighting chair. These two boys really love the farm!

We tried to enjoy every second of the beautiful leaves this year. They were so bright and pretty I LOVED it! I think we went up on a wheeler ride every Sunday until they faded.

Today I am exactly 27 weeks, and feeling quite big already. We are kind of in a mess here at our house the bathroom is tore up getting a new floor and the extra room is a mess waiting to be made into either a play room or the baby's room. I hate feeling un-organized but I am learning to be patient. I cant wait till I have everything put together for this baby girl to come. I just feel like it is going to be right around the corner because the Holidays always go by so fast. Anyhow other than that it is getting pretty cold, and the only good thing about the days getting shorter is we spend more time together as a family which is nice. Tayton is quite the character and is saying the funniest things, we need to make a book of his sayings. Enjoy the last bit of fall everyone:)

Arizona

Back in September I went with my parents, brother, and grandma to the first U of A game. It was fun to go see Drew and where he lives and most of all see him out on the football field at the huge stadium. It was so surreal to see him playing. We stayed for five days (three days of driving -longest drive ever) and we had some interesting experiences and made some great memories. We just loved seeing Drew and Kensi and can't wait to see them again.

Summer Rewind...

Tayt turned Jax into a cowboy.

We enjoyed the Summit County Fair this year and went to the parade, I have to get a pic of my uncle Ver every year sporting his fancy rebuilt tractors. Such a great guy:)

Tayton loved the parade, but it was so embarrassing he wouldn't pick up any candy! And of course when you don't want people to throw you candy they unloaded on ya. Rock and I probably looked like fools picking up all the candy!

Night #1 at the Rodeo (or in Tayt's words the Rode) he loved wearing his cowboy hat like dad. He did pretty good, but got a little restless, but every time we drive by the fairgrounds now he asks to go to the Rode.

Can't believe my little boy is a cowboy, so much for the cute preppy clothes that he will not wear!! What the heck?? I'm blaming this on Rocky!

Syd and Bryer used our yard for their wedding in August, that was an interesting experience. All in all it turned out nice.

We went boating once this summer, Tayt loves boating about as much as I do.. ha ha he cried the whole time and I was PG sick:(

Rock loves boating on the other hand and he had a great time...

Rocky surprised me for my 25th b-day and (5 yr anniversary) and took me to the Little America in SLC. He even took me to the gateway to go shopping! He really out did himself this year and we had the best time. I was pretty concerned about leaving little Tayt man but it was so fun. Rock had been away the whole summer during the week and only home on the weekends so we really had a great time just enjoying one another since we missed each other all summer. I would like to go back, it makes you feel like your rich for one night with all the fancy things there:)

I think this was early June, we still couldn't get up Lewis's. Tayt and Jaxon both had to ride with Grammy Julie and Papa Steve. Tayton loves his grandparents!! They spoiled these two quite a bit this summer taking them on adventures just the two of the them and making their house such a fun place to go. Tayt asks all the time if he can go to Gram's house. Not only are my parents great; Grammy Karen and Papa Jer spoil Tayton too. He spent his first night away from home at Grammy Karen's and she said he did great. I will never know if she was telling the truth because he was quite the mommy's boy this summer. We are so grateful for our awesome parents and how they treat all their grand kids!

We took Tayton to the Tree House in Ogden for a birthday activity. He really enjoyed it.

Of course this was his favorite part, sitting on the horses. They were pretty cute:)

We had a pretty good summer! We missed Rocky and unfortunately we couldn't go camping as much as we wanted but next summer for sure. We just found out that we are having a GIRL this winter and we are beyond excited. Tayton has to talk to his baby sister in his mommy's belly every morning (this might be a long pregnancy) I am almost half way there and cant wait to see what she looks like:) Happy Fall everyone, its my favorite season!!!

Wow the summer has finally came to an end. I hate to wish time away but I was hoping it would go by fast so I could have my Rockster back home. Now he has been home for a couple of weeks and I'm a much happier person. He just started his new job teaching, he has a few concerns about the teaching world but I hope he enjoys this first year. As for me, well: I'm now staying home with my little guy, and I guess we'll finally tell the Internet world that we are expecting another little one in February. (the ninth to be exact) At first I wasn't sure about this stay at home business, but I am realizing how much of a blessing it is to be able to spend lots of quality time with your kids. I am liking it more and more each day. As for adding another baby to the mix, we are getting very excited & I love watching Tayton around other babies he just adores them, lets hope he stays that way! I will find out what we are having in about three weeks, but until then I am guessing it will be another boy- but who knows??! I just wish my body didn't take such a U-turn when I get prego, it's crazy what you will do for a baby good thing they are so worth it:)

I will have to post some pics of our summer soon, I feel like we didn't do a whole lot. Tayt has turned into a cowboy this summer. He received a pair of cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, and a belt buckle from some awesome cousins and he dresses up daily. He even calls himself Cowboy Tayton and loves to ride a bucking horse (aka mom or dad). Rocky is loving being around the farm again, and decided to purchase more sheep to add to his herd. Wow did I ever see myself being a sheep farmers wife?? not so much haha Other than that we are looking forward to this fall, we love fall around here. It's so pretty and we also get to watch my little bro play some college football! We are hoping to make a few trips down to Arizona to see him. Rocky is already looking forward to hunting season, and as for me take me on a ride to see the leaves and I am a happy person............................... Enjoy the rest of your summer everyone:)

Out of Order

Rocky has been out of town for almost three months now and I have been "out of order". I hate, hate, hate, having him gone. Yes I am going to use my blog to complain- no one has to read this, but I wanted to remember how hard it was while he was away and how much I appreciate him. I have figured a few things out since he has been gone week after week. Rock is seriously my other half, cant really function with out him. I guess I can, but things aren't the same. I miss him like crazy, the other night my mom kind of mentioned I'm a little over dramatic about it but I don't care I can't wait until he is done. Only about three weeks- and he will be a teacher, and I am beyond excited to have a husband home again:) I don't think he will ever read this, but here is my list of things about the best husband in the world!
1. Such a great daddy (Tayton is always asking for his dad)
2. Always there to listen
3. Helps me so much with Tayt - you don't realize this until your doing everything yourself
4. So fun to be around...I'm so bored with him gone
5. Makes us feel safe.. the nights are getting long with him not here
6. Hard worker...does so much for our family
7. Spoils me..
Cant Wait for you to come home Rock:)

Tayton turned 2 on June 3rd, with Rocky being out of town we celebrated the Sunday before his birthday. Of course the weather was crappy, and so we all crammed into our small living room. It turned out perfect, Tayton had an awesome birthday and it seemed everyone enjoyed themselves. He got spoiled as usual lots of new toys, and a tractor to drive around the yard from us, topped with an awesome elmo cake (thanks to my mom and sis). I'm a little weirded (is that a word) out that he is two, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It is sad how fast they grow up that is for sure. We seriously love this kid, yes he throws his tantrums, has hit the terrible two stage, is definitely not perfect, but he just fits so well in our family. Happy Birthday little guy, and stop growing so FAST:)

Good Times..

Rocky called me the other day and said grab the camera, I come outside to find my little guy on Red all by himself! He was in heaven!! Now he constantly says, "Mom I ride Red"!

A few weeks ago we went herding sheep as a family, (yes I even went) I miss Rocky so much since he is working out of town I will do anything to be with him constantly during the weekends. Anyhow it was way fun and Tatyon loved every second. He is just like his daddy!

Drew got to come home for a short week so we decided to go bowling. I bowled the game of my life!!

Tatyon really enjoys bowling too!

All his hard work has paid off, Rocky is now a graduate of Weber State University! He graduated in the end of April, and has just got a job as a Biology Teacher at South Ogden Middle School. I am so proud of him, and so excited to start our next chapter.

I just wanted to write some stuff down about Tayton since I print my blog now:) @ 22 Months -Talking ALOT- so funny I thought I would write all his new words now, but he almost says anything you tell him. -Loves his dad, definitely turned into a daddy's boy (prob cause they are always together out on the farm) -Weighs 25 lbs still is so skinny, but is extremely tall, Already have put him in 2T pants even thought they fall off half the time lol -LOVES Basketball we bought him a hoop and he is quite the shooter -Says Grammy and Papa (and its so cute:) -Has learned a few colors, I'm actually surprised he already knows orange, purple, black, blue, and pink -Wears size 6 shoe -Favorite thing to eat, is either spaghetti or lasagna -Always wants cookies -Still has to have his milk warm, I think we have babied him a little too much -Thinks everything is hot, his food has to be cold for him to eat it -Starting to jump, and man he thinks he can jump high but I bet you couldn't slide a paper under his feet -Really likes to swim -Any ball he sees he thinks he needs it! -Loves his dog ky and his 2 kitties -Loves his cousins! calls Sawyer boy and I cant get him to stop calling him that! -Really likes talking on the phone Cant belive he is big enough to do all these things but he just keeps getting more fun. Love you Tater BUG:)

My niece has arrived and she is so CUTE!! Her name is Kylee and she is a angel:)

Tayton just loves her!! He already calls her baby Kylee (SO CUTE) Congrats to Crystal and Matt, she couldn't be more perfect.

So we took a little get a way to Richfield for State Basketball. Rocky coached the Freshmen this year so we were lucky enough to get a room for a few nights! It went so good it was Tayt's first stay in a hotel room and he slept with his dad. I just had to snatch a pic because they were so cute:) He considers himself daddy's sleeping buddy. We had a great time, and Tayton enjoyed himself. We took him swimming and he didn't want to get out ( I wish I would have taken some pics)

Tayton is growing like a weed, I cant believe this June he will be two. We just always thought he would be our baby forever! Rocky is down to a few months before graduation time and I am so proud and excited for him. I continue working two days a week and I am still trying to get settled in our home. Tayton already loves living here, everyday he thinks he needs to go see the tractors! It is lambing season and we have some babies pretty much in our back yard and Tayton watches them out the window. He yells at me, "mom, baby sheep!" Man he is such a cutie and we love him sooooo much:) He pretty much says whatever we say now, I cant believe how time flys!

My handsome little guy getting ready for church. He has always wanted to go to nursery until now he can actually go!! But as long as he gets the little baby he will stay for about an hour then has to come find mom. He is so weird with dolls, he loves them and will not share with anyone! I told Rock we needed to buy one for our house and he turned me down.

He was in heaven, daddy took him up to sit on all the tractors at the farm. Did not want to leave that was for sure.

The first and only time we have tried sledding so far this winter, he definitely didn't love it.

He was happy here just because we had just barely put him in the sled didn't know what was going to happen yet!

So we have some sad/exciting news. We will be moving this weekend up to Hoytsville. Now its only about five miles away but the thought of moving has made me a wreck. I have loved where we have lived the past three and a haft years. Ya the house could have used some work but we have really made it our home and I am sad we will be leaving it. We are moving up to the farm which kind of scares me. I am sure Rock will be helping out on the farm a lot more so that will be a huge adjustment. I will be moving further away from my mom and sister (my sis lives right across the field from me now). I will be moving into a different ward, and we honestly love our ward we have been in; it is actually the ward I grew up in so I knew everyone. The list could go on and on but I am excited as well. Rocky and Tayton absolutely love the farm, and I know they will love living up there. We have an awesome opportunity to live in Rocky's grandparents home. Its a older home but such a cute farm house. (I'll have to take some pics) We have actually fixed it up a little so I'm looking forward to the fresh paint and new carpet. I'm sure everyone goes through this when moving but its kind of nerve wracking. Even though I'm a little nervous to move I'm sure this will be a great new adventure for us.

Mr and Mrs Clause were so nice to make the trip to Coalville again this year. As you can see we didn't have very good luck this year but we had to get a pic anyway. Thanks Ver and Pam you guys are the greatest!! Even though he was naughty when he meet Santa he was still spoiled, I don't know how that happened??

Drew and Kensi were married on December 20th.. Shortly after they moved to Arizona where Drew will further his Football career at the University of Arizona! We miss them already, needing to plan a trip down to Tuscon this spring for sure.

They are such a great couple, we love having Kensi in our family

As always it seems Christmas flies by way to fast. Might be that it is such a busy day but it is so fun. WE start with presents at our house, then to the Paces for breakfast, then we end the day at the Robinsons with dinner. It was a blast this year, Tayton was so fun to be around. He was so overwhelmed it took forever for him to move onto the next present to open. He probably would have been satisfied with just opening one. Some of his new favorite toys are his tractors and farm ( prob #1), geo trax train, bbq, and many other things. Rock and I also spoiled ourselves with some awesome couch's which I love!

Along with the crazy time of Christmas Drew and Kens tied the not the week of Christmas. It turned out to be a beautiful wedding and the bride and groom were adorable. We are all so proud of them.

My Boy is 18 months, cant even believe it

A little about Tayton: he says a few more words although I think I'm the only one that can understand them. He always, always, has to have a brm brmm (aka 4 wheeler in his hand)! Its so funny, I have to pry it out of his hands at bed time. He is starting to be a little stinker sometimes and throws all sorts of fits when he doesn't get his way. Sharing is such a hard thing when your the only child in the house!
He is such a happy little guy and I couldn't imagine our life without him. We are truly blessed to have him and I love him more than words can say.

Loves being chased, or chasing others. Starting to like hide and go seek except he always hides in the same hiding place, classic!

He is a mama's boy for sure. His dad has been out of town quite a bit so we have become major pals!:)

Here at the Pace home we are getting ready for Christmas and we are extremly busy! Rocky has taken on coaching the freshmen boys basektball team. He is so excited and I am actually excited as well I love watching b-ball. He also plays in a league in Kamas so needless to say there isn't much time left between parties and basketball. We hope everyone is doing well, what a wonderful time of year to think of all our many blessings. Enjoy the Holidays:)

Stopped at a Indian Reservation. I thought this was so cool; a place to live clear up in the mountain to stay away from the enemies. Indians were so cool!

A lot of families lived in there, I wish they would have let us climb up there to look around!

Best part of the trip, in Kane County they have an old cop car in every small town with a manican inside. I almost died it was hilarious, of course I had to pose next to them!!

Truth be told, it really works! We fell for it every time so I had to go tell the officer good work!

I went clear down to Phoenix and didn't even get a pic of the game how lame:( Snow won, me and traveling did not. I hate riding in the car that long. I'm hoping when Drew is playing in Tuscon next year I can get over this so we can go watch a few games.

Rocky's grandpa Lamar passed away a few weeks ago, and I just had to document how special the day was. First of all a little background; Every year Rocky's grandparents gave them a balloon for how old they were, and in these balloons there was money. So every year the grandkids would be so excited to pop their balloons to see how much money was in them. I was so grateful that Tayton had this experience for his first birthday, it was so special! I loved the Pace grandparents (Barbra and Lamar) and I'm positive that Lamar had an amazing reunion with his dear wife! He was the hardest worker I had ever seen, clear up till the last weeks he was riding his four wheeler around on the farm turning water off and other duties that had to be done. Lamar you will be missed, but we know your happy and pain free:)

Another neat thing they did was took his casket to the cemetery on the tractor. I'm sure Lamar loved that final ride on his tractor. Here are all the grand kids/great grand kids on the tractor. Tayt is on the front right row, wanting down as usual.

We have been pretty busy this fall, or should I say Rocky has been swamped! The end of August and first of September he hunted and can I just say that was the longest 4 weeks ever! I feel like a bad wife complaining but a woman needs some time to herself too!! haha This past weekend the Pace's sold the sheep, including Rocky's little herd that keeps growing. Tayt and I tagged along this year and stayed up at the sheep camp, it was actually pretty fun we might just have to make it a yearly thing. Rocky has been working 11 hr days and I feel so bad for him, but also myself & Tayt because we get bored without him. We are hoping he doesn't go on a week long work trip next week- that would be torture!!!! Tayton is getting way too big, he now says a few words: dada, tractor, ball, bubble, mom(kind of), water or wawa, moo for cow, baa for sheep, and a growling noise for a dinosaur or a bear. I think he says a few other things but I can't tell what he is saying. He is so dang funny I swear everyday gets a little more fun with this little guy. That's about it we will be following Drew around these coming weekends in Ephraim its really neat to watch him, but it is a long day with a one yr old.

ps.....now I have learned how to print my blog, this is my new scrapbook! I'm so excited to be able to document everything on here(I dont like to scrapbook). This might lead to some lengthy posts sorry!

Well that was our summer, it has flown by way to fast. It was our anniversay yesterday and we are celebrating by going to Wendover on the 28th for a night to see Clint Black. Here are our family pics 2010, Tayton did so well and they turned out great! Hope everyone is doing well, I have been a slacker on here now its summer. Rocky is always cutting hay and working up to 12 hrs a day, so needless to say we never really see him. Here I am on a boring rainy day looking at my blog and seeing I have been a slacker on here. I have realized it is good for me to blog and document everything, because if I don't how am I going to remember anything? I should start scrap booking, but I just cant get into it, maybe one day, until that day I will be a blogger and a picture book person. Next Thursday is the 3rd of JUNE which means my baby boy will be 1!!! I am so excited, I love the baby stage but I also love how much fun they get as they get older. Tayton has all of a sudden become his own little person. It is amazing to watch him grow and his personality develop. WOW how cool is it to be a mom? Even though it is a hard job I wouldn't want any other job in the world!!! Have a good Memorial DAy!

Countdown!!!

Rocky only has about 4 weeks left of school so I have decided to do a countdown. I know school is tough for him but I think it is tough for the wife too, especially if you are helping provide for them to go to school! I feel blessed that I have been able to work and help out financially, but I am so ready for Rocky to be done and after this semester all he has to do is student teaching! He will work this fall, then next spring he will be student teaching (and hopefully during this he will not decide he wants to do something different and go back). Now that would be a nightmare!:)

We are just pumped for this summer and here are a few things we are wanting to do , #1 go camping in our trailer we just got- as much as possible, #2 go visit family on Sundays- now this seems silly but seriously we never leave this dang house because all poor Rocky does is homework, #3 start running every night together, #4 just have a lot more free time together maybe go on a date? haven't done that for a few months, Trust me the list could go on and on. I'm just excited, probably to much, for the school stuff to be done and to move on to the next stage of life!

Of course I have to post some new pics of Tate. He just thinks he is big stuff now he can crawl, and pull himself up easily. I'm scared we might have a walker soon! HE will be 10 months the fist of May. His new favorite thing is to play with any ball and to be outside. He screams when I bring him in! We are pretty excited for this spring to show him all of daddy's new lambs.

Tayton officially started CRAWLING this week! He had been taking a few crawling steps but no more than 3, I had been working with him so much hoping the first time he crawled across the room it would be with his mom but it didn't happen that way. He was at his Grandma Karen's and I guess the last straw was to get away from his Grandpa to get to his Grandma! He is so darn cute and it is awesome just watching him develop. I cant believe we are already at this stage, we love having him and enjoy every second with him!

I'm coming mom! I'm a little slow, but I am loving that I can go wherever I want!

I have been wanting to get Tayton's pictures done for a few months now. But after deciding that we wanted to wait until spring to hire someone to do our photos outside -I still wanted to get Tayton's pictures done. Trying to be thrifty with money till Rocky is back to work my mom and I decided we would try doing it ourselves. After seeing the results I would say they turned out pretty cute. Tayton is at such a cute stage, always smiling and talking it was fun (but hard) trying to catch all of his cute posses. I have to give photographers more credit at what they do, it was pretty tough. Everyone always says they grow up too fast and I am learning how true it is! I don't know where the time has gone, but I do know I love being a mom and I LOVE this kid!

So lately Rocky has been home ALOT with Tate, because he has been out of work (I volunteered to work more because of it). I feel like our life is now that song--Mr Mom haha! So I come home from work today to find Rocky has set up Tayton walker. I was thinking he was much to young for it, but much to my amazement he was scooting himself around! I couldn't believe it, he was absolutely loving every minute of it. Here at the Pace house our little man isn't crawling, but he will most likely be found driving his new jeep around!

I couldn't resist letting Ky be in the picture. Its too dang cold for him to be outside. It really needs to warm up!

Six months is my favorite month so far! Tayton is starting to talk or should I say jabber? He is always telling us some very interesting stories(so cute). It is so fun watching him figure things out, next on the list will be crawling YIKES- that might be interesting in this house. His favorites are his jumper and kicking coaster where he can jump and kick like crazy! This boy also loves his fruit and veg's and gets so excited to dig into breakfast and dinner.

We are so blessed with health, happiness, family, along with so many other things. What a wonderful time of year, makes you realize how lucky you really are!

We had a pretty fun halloween this year. Tayton made it until about 7:30 and then was out. Because of this we didnt get to visit much but we still had fun, all the kids made it up to our house before he fell asleep so that was fun. We are just so blessed to have such a fun and happy baby!

Four month check up results are....
28 inches long and 14 1/2 lbs. 100% in height and 40% in weight--- just like his daddy.
We love this little guy so much- he has been such a blessing to have. We just love being parents!
For me and Rocky...
Rocky is in his last year at Weber--almost done (we kind of see the light) He is extremly busy with homework, work, and family (oh and church callings) Poor guy never gets a break.
I am still working in Park City at the bank part time, and being a mom the rest of my time.

We finally decided we better get some pictures of Tayton. The photo shoot took quite a while because he wasn't cooperating with us but I will forgive him because after seeing the smile photo, how could I not? We decided to head up Whitney on the 4th, my parents were camping up there so we figured we could take Tayton on his first outdoor trip. We had a great time! Tayton stayed at the trailer with my parents and took a huge nap while Rocky and I enjoyed some time together on a wheeler ride. It was such a fun day!!!

It has been so fun taking care of Tayton. At first my emotions were a little crazy, but now we are all settled and starting to get the hang of things I just love being home with this baby! Lately we have just been going for walks, cooking dinner together, and just pretty much hanging out at the house. He has started to love taking baths, his dad thinks he is funny and says he swims laps while they bathe together. It is so crazy how fast he is changing and growing. He is just such a cutie!

On June 3rd at about 11:23 PM(to be exact) our little Tayton decided to come into this crazy world and join us. Sorry it has taken me a while to show him off, but getting used to this parenting thing has had me pretty occupied. He weighed in at 7lbs7oz and was 20 inches long. We were not expecting him for another week or two, but after going to my doctor appt. Wednesday morning my doctor decided to start me because of my blood pressure. We jumped in the car back to Coalville to pick up our bags and headed to ST. Marks Hospital. They finally starting putting (what I call) - PIT- in me around 2:00 PM, and we started the waiting game. At about four they broke my water (craziest experience ever) and about a few hours later I decided it was definitely time for the epidural. To make a long story short I had pretty good delivery- I think- because I started pushing at 11:00 and he was born 23 minutes later. My sister said she hates me because she had to push for 4 hours. We are so glad he is here, he is a handful, but we just love him so much already! Here are a few pictures of the cutie- I am sure I will have to post more later........ (sorry for the novel)

I am officially starting the countdown to getting this little guy out of me! I never thought I would be down to the four week countdown, but here we are and I am seriously sick of being pregnant. I know that sounds bad, and I hate saying it, but I am not a happy pregnant lady. Some women just rant and rave about how they love being pregnant, but I seriously do not know what they are talking about. Anyhow to start my count down we were very blessed to have three showers for this little guy. The Pace's, my work, and my mom/sister all threw showers for me. We have such great family and friends and we really appreciate all of those who gave us gifts. We recieved a lot of fun things and it just made everything so real. I told myself that I would never post a picture of me, but my cousin came to my shower (she is pregnant with triplets) and we just had to take a picture comparing the two of us. I am 36 1/2 weeks along and she is 28 weeks. Becuase of her I try not to complain because I can't imagine having three in me- she is amazing and looks really good. So here is a picture of us...........

SPRING BREAK

Last weekend we decided to go to St. George for a little get away with my family. Rocky was on spring break anyhow, so we tagged along for the weekend. My parents found a really nice house that we stayed in and we all had such a great time- the boys went four wheeling, I hung out with my sis and nephew, went hiking in Snow Canyon, relaxed, and my favorite part was enjoying the warm sun! This trip really has gave me an extreme case of spring fever!!!

Being six months prego I didn't enjoy the ride to much, but it went a lot better than I expected. I am starting to get quite un-comfortable, but I tell myself it will be worth it in 13 weeks when this little guy will be here. Things are still the same, Rocky is working through school one day at a time, while I am working. Can't wait until MATERNITY LEAVE! (3 months being home with my two boys sounds so great right now, but heck who knows I will probably hate being home. I guess time will tell..... until then.....

Finally I got my blog back up to date! Yee haw it only took me two months. I just have had no energy lately but no more excuses or whining I decided to turn over a new leaf and just be positive.(we will see how long this lasts!haha) Anyhow thing are going great, Rocky is just plugging away at school with 18 credits, and I am counting down to maternity leave! We are now past the half way mark and I have about 17 weeks or so till our little fella is coming to join us. We are also really excited because we found a sweet deal on a crib and changing table/dresser. Things are coming together and it makes me so excited to actually get his room ready.

We will be finding out what we are having on Friday! I can't tell you how excited I am to finally know and stop guessing what is inside me. At work everyone keeps telling me it is going to be a girl, which is what I thought, but now it's getting closer I really have no clue. We don't mind what it is as long as it is a healthy baby.
I do have to mention this crazy lady that came to my window @ work though. She stepped up without me even saying anything, (already annoyed) and I can't help but notice her staring at my belly. So finally she says, you are pregnant aren't you? Of course I said yes and without any hesitation she reached across the counter and grabs my stomach! I promise I am not lying one bit, after she feels just for a second she immediately says you are having a girl! I reply, how do you know that? She tells me all about her pregnancies and how she was just like me, soft and squishy not really poking out like I would be if were to be having a boy, not really knowing what that meant I just laughed it off but really wanted to say THANKS A LOT ya big jerk. Soft and squishy what the h$$l does that mean that I just look really fat? Haha anyhow just thought I would share my story, I guess we will see if she was right or not?

Wow it has flown by again, another crazy Christmas is over for one more year. (SAD) I really enjoy Christmas time, running around to every one's houses, stuffing our faces till we cant move, getting presents, oh it's the greatest! This year it started off with the Prescott Christmas Eve party, next was Christmas morning present opening(Rock and I) we still like to be kids ourselves, then breakfast at the Pace's, and dinner at my mom's. We didn't get home till almost ten but it was worth it! One of my favorites was being with all of our nieces and nephews they are so fun to be around, especially this time of year.We had an amazing Christmas getting to be with our families, but most of all we are so grateful for all of our blessings this year. Sometimes I just look around and can't believe how lucky we are. I hope all of you had a great Christmas as well- we miss all of you guys! Here are a few shots of the wonderful day......

Here I am on a snowy Saturday sitting at work, and I feel guilty for not telling all of my great friends on here some great news! Are you ready????????????????????????????????????????
We are expecting a little one on June 16th, 2009 wow that is still crazy to tell myself even though I am about 14 weeks now! I still have a hard time believing it, but after going to the doctor plenty of times, and getting some great pictures, we are certain a little baby will be joining our family, we just don't know what it is yet.
Anyhow this is my shout out that we are really excited, and honestly a little nervous, to become parents ourselves! I am sure it will be great!

I missed blogging about Halloween,(what a surprise) I am just running a few months late is all! We were treated with all the nieces and nephew's coming up to our house this year for the big trick or treat! What a group, we had a pirate, bee, movie star, devil, transformer, and a scary monster. Kids are just the cutest things ever all dressed up I enjoyed seeing them all this year, because last year I had to work and never seen anyone! They are the cutest! Ya know I miss doing some of the things we used to do on halloween in the highschool years! I will never forget the year I was almost arrested for smasing a PUMPKIN! Wow I was such a rebel haha.

I never talked about Rocky's birthday so I will start here. October 12th Rocky turned 24! Wow getting up there, I know..haha Anyhow I had my side of the family come over for some brownie sundae's and let him open up the big surprise!!! If anyone knows how hard it is for me to keep a secret you might understand the pain I went through for weeks not letting him know what we got him. And the big surprise was....... a spotting scope. All this guy ever wants is hunting supplies so me and a few of my family members went in together and got him what he wanted. He was actually in desperate need of clothes, and he begged me not to get him any, what a funny guy huh? I took him out to eat and the next day his mom made us some dinner and we celebrated up there as well. It was a really fun, and I cant express how grateful I am for him... So happy Birthday Rocky almost a month ago.

I love Fall! The smell in the air, the leaves changing, listening to elk bugle, oh it is the best! The leaves are not quite ready yet but they are getting there. The only thing is I ask myself why I like it so much, because I never ever get to see Rocky. All he has been doing lately is hunting. His bow hunt ended Friday so I have been taking advantage of him being home. Saturday we went out with friends to dinner and miniature golfing, then last night we went four wheeling. Although he only has a week then he starts up again with muzzle loader. I honestly didn't know we was so obsessed, I just tell myself I only have to be a widow until the end of October! Then I get back at him and make him take me on lots of dates.. Until
then you can all feel bad for me! HAHAHA JK

So two weekends ago we went up to Starvation with the In Laws. We all stayed in a friends cabin for the weekend and we played lots of games, went four wheeling, and just hung out. It was fun being around all the crazy kids. We now have 2 nieces and 5 nephews. I love it! I dont have many pictures but it was a good time.

For our Anniversary we decided to go up to Snowbird Resort. (Little Cottonwood Canyon) It was so much fun, we would suggest anyone to go up there for a little get away. With your stay you get an all day pass to go on the tram, alpine slide, trampoline, zip line rider, chair lifts, and a mechanical bull oh and a yummy breakfast. We had so much fun, here are a few pictures.. The top was so pretty, but very cold!

Since it is our anniversary I guess I can show how Rock asked me to marry him. (He might kill me for putting these on!) So he took me for a horse ride and the whole time I was drilling him about us getting married that we only have so long! Anyhow I got up there and he had carved our initials in the tree with the date! It was so cute and he had my ring hiding in the trees. I had no clue what was going on (the dummy I am) until I turned around and he was on his knee! Oh course I started laughing and after that said YES! It was so fun what a creative hubby I have... (sorry pictures are fuzzy, don't know whats going on?)

I cant believe it has already been two years! Our anniversary is next weekend and just wanted to post some wedding pictures to remember our amazing day and how it all started. I can't believe how lucky I feel having Rocky as my husband we are so happy and can't wait for our years to come!

Oh and I just had to add this last picture to show everyone how mean our family is(well Rocky's side anyhow)! This picture does nothing for how bad they got Rocky's car! Syrup, whip cream, hot dogs, oil stuff, cheese, and last but not least sardines and tuna fish cans under the seats! Thank goodness my parents offered to wash it the next day... we didn't even have to clean it up what good parents I have!

These are some parade pictures!

Well I feel like we have been really busy lately and have no pictures to show for it! I really need to bring my camera more often to things, but what can you do? Anyhow this last week was the fair and we went to most of it. We went to the demolition derby, both rodeos, grandstand entertainment, and the parade! It was a pretty fun week!

We also got to attend my friend Kortney's wedding at the Bountiful Temple. It was really fun seeing her so happy and I always enjoy watching sealings they are so amazing.

This weekend we both had Friday off so we kept of thinking of fun things to do and came up with a variety of things. First we decided we would shave ky. His hair was so long that he had to have been dying of heat so we thought it was a good idea. Two hours later we made him look like a mutt and I think he is still embarrassed. (I didn't take any pictures) Then we thought we would go down to the lake and swim by the shore. That was pretty fun but just made us wish we had a jet ski for the day. Then Saturday we decided to go up to the fam's property (franklins) to see if we could see some animals. After looking all night we didn't find any, but we had a fun weekend it was good to have some time off to be with each other. Here are a few shots I took!

So I had to work on my birthday last week and not thinking anything of it here comes this lady with my favorite flowers and as usual when flowers get delivered I just ignore it because Rocky is not the type to send me flowers. Before I know it she is walking towards me I am thinking someone is behind me or something because these can't be for me! But much to my surprise they were and I opened the card again thinking this couldn't be my husband sending me these and IT WAS!! What a surprise...then later that night he took me to have a bajo salad and to see Dark Knight (batman). It was so fun and the movie was as good as everyone said! Thanks to my hubby I had the best birthday ever!

10 Years Ago: I was 11. Honestly I have a horrible memory so I have no idea! I do remember I was very chubby just starting to love sports although I HATED middle school!

5 Years Ago: 1: I was stoked about getting my licence and my dad bought me a $600 dollar car which was a omni that didn't have very good shocks so we would bounce down the road! My friends and I loved that car and every tme I came home after a late night ball game some boy (still don't know which one) had it up on milk crates so I couldn't drive it off! We had good times going digging in it also. High School memories, I could go on and on!

Yesterday: Worked, mowed the lawn, and waited for Rocky to get home from a hunting meeting.

Favorite Snacks: Fruit! I love fruit in the summer time

5 Favorite Books: Seriously? Sounds horrible but I hate reading therefore have no favorite book

5 Favorite Places to Run Away To: Home after a long day at work, aerobics after a bad day of eating crap foods, bed so I can be cuddled, my moms because she always makes things better, and a sweet vacation that I will go on one day!

5 Bad Habits: Sleeping with mouth open, popping zits (sounds gross I know), having bad road rage, complaining, and leaving the toothpaste lid off

We absolutely love riding our new four wheeler! Last night Rocky and I (and ky--bad idea) went on a late ride up to the fam's property to the highest peak around here called Lewis Peak. Man it was such a pretty ride. At the top (as I tried to capture) you can see all of the surrounding towns of Coalville. We also saw a nice buck, and three bull elk. Keep this a secret .....but we seen the biggest elk we have ever seen up there. Needless to say Rocky is counting down the days to hunt because he thinks we are going to scout every night until the hunt and know where this fella is going to be in three months! We had a great time, wish you could be here Mikael and Bryan.. haha

(I am very glad no one seen us, because we had to look like idiots with a big dog sitting on my lap! I just feel bad always leaving him home, but after him driving me nuts the whole way up there I think he will continue staying home again! )

I am going to miss my "little" bro Drew!!! He is off to Snow college to be a Badger. We are so excited for him to further his football career, and I am so stoked to go back to Ephraim to watch someone I actually know. How would it be to have all of your college paid for? Wow I wish Rocky could get a scholarship!

This past spring.....
I know I am going backwards but I need to catch up on this thing and I don't have anything new to talk about so just deal with it...
So Rocky just loves farming, and for me- well lets just say I just go along with what he tells me to- but anyhow he got some lambs of his own this year so we spent qute a bit of time up there waiting for his sheep to give birth to his new lambs. It was so fun for me to see this process, and come to find out I like lambs now, heck I even fed the bummers with a bottle and it was fun! I took Jaxon up there and he loved looking, but he would not touch one if his life depeneded on it! Anyhow, needless to say we had a lot of fun being around the cute new lambs!

Ky was such a cute little guy we fell in love when we seen him on the internet so we just had to get him I mean how can you resist a cutie like this? But man he has grown, but him and Rocky are best friends. Although everyone makes fun of us because they think we treat him like our "baby" but what can you say he is!

My parents decided to take the whole fam up to Afton (by Jackson Hole). We stayed in a cabin and had so much fun. We went into Jackson and shopped, ate some dinner at a chuck wagon party, and then we went fourwheeling on the other days. We found some pretty country up there in big WYO and just had a blast!
